Before ProTan & JanTana started taking over the competitions for spray tanning this is how all the bodybuilders used to tan. And some still do. The tanning packages at smaller shows are optional and are usually a couple hundred bucks. So if you just want to buy the tanner yourself (~20-30 bucks for a couple of jars) and have someone do it for you then you can save some money. And some guys and girls will do their base at home so they only need to do the last coat as a spray tan at the venue.
