Monte Dean Hansen (b. November 30, 1943 in French Lick, Indiana) was one of the great hearthrobs of gay erotica from the late 60s through most of the next decade. Raised in Brooklyn (where he did some Golden Gloves boxing as a teenager), he was first photographed by Chuck Renslow (Kris of Chicago) who introduced him to Walt Kundzicz (Champion, the studio he's most associated with) who then passed him on to Bob Mizer (AMG), the photographer who shot this posing film in 1967. Lively, charismatic & quite possibly bi-polar, Monte created quite a stir wherever he went, hustling his way across the country, with occasional guilt-laden trips home to the wife & kids, until late into his thirties, when he was 'still lookin' good' in a photoshoot for Lou Thomas (Target.) Monte also did a celebrated b&w porn loop--a hot but hard-to-find item which I'll post as soon as I can locate it.
