To answer my own question, after looking at the 6-part strip show in the archive, I guess this clip dates back quite a bit. Two years ago, I heard he'd dropped out of the competitive scene (and all it involved) & was working as a personal trainer in Phoenix. Apparently it was giving up 'all it involved' that had changed his appearance so completely.
I've always loved this guy, too (AND his big ass) & admired the manly, serious, no-nonsense way he carried himself in competition. But two questions: 1) didn't he ALWAYS wear his hair very, very short anyway? 2) Just when was this shot? (I ask because I've been told that I wouldn't recognize him from the way he looks today.
