A brisk promenade through the golden age of beefcake photography, recalling musclemen who fueled the erotic fantasies of several generations of gay guys. Here (in order of appearance) are some I picked out: John Tristram, Bill Derrick, Ed Fury, Dick DuBois, Seymour Koenig, Steve Wengryn, Dale Curry, Hank Prater, Lou Degni, Art Powers, Don Reyes, Bob McCune, Gerry Murphy, Jack Lalanne, Wally Schilcutt, Zaro Rossi, Don Fuller & Bruce Mars. There are also glimpses of Muscle Beach in its heyday, and the recurrent image of the lovable Joe Leitel who, though hardly a muscle monster himself, was so emblematic of the typical AMG model that he was chosen to be the narrator of 'Beefcake,' the fine documentary about the legendary studio that appeared in 1999. (I'd love to credit the clever author of this little tribute, but I don't know his name. Does anybody here?)

These were the days when nude males were more difficult to order through the mail, and enjoyed more even with posing pouches covering their genitals.Sadly most of the beautiful men are very old now or simply passed away. But thanks to film we have them forever. Thankyou for posting them.

What a great holiday gift! I've seen some of these pics and clips before, but never put together like this--very HOT! Thanks for continuing to post vintage muscle. Nothing hotter than muscle in b&w from the taboo past. Don't know the creator of this clip, but a toasdt to him, whomever he is!

xychromo that was PHANTASMAGORICAL. It did bring back lots of memories this old fart. I think all my pocket money from when i first started work in 1953 went mostly on the B&W mags that these lads came from including I might add "MALE" which I just about saw featured very quickly amongst those lithe bodies.,

Brilliant. Somehow the black and white footage always seems more erotic. It still turns me on.
