Maltese muscle

From the annals of Bygone Beefcake, here's the 21-year-old TONY CAMILLERI, a darkly smoldering hunk of macho from the Isle of Malta. Standing 6' 1" and weighing in at around 230, he was a big (presumably pre-steroidal) contender whose 55" chest and hefty guns helped him place 5th in the 1973 Mr. Universe and 4th the following year. In this silent 12-minute clip (the only real documentation of his career), he's oiled (and limbered) up by a guy I take to be his kid brother. (I note that the kid was well-positioned to savor big bro's no-doubt-richly-aromatic pits, a pleasure now lost to us forever.) Tony's posing offers a fairly comprehensive tour of his bod--though the camera, of course, doesn't linger on the weakness that seems to bedevil even the greatest of BBs--disproportionately slender calves. [Gazing on such early-70s beauty, I was tempted to present Tony in the "Golden Age of Trade" series, but his earnest--not to say grim--demeanor strongly suggests that he was hardly playful enough to have played around, even a little. You never know, though.]

Something about a guy feeling another guy’s biceps in admiration that makes me rock hard!

xychromo... My "Epiphany" to Muscle Mags and the adoration of BB Bodies was between 1953 and 1956 at my first job when a guy I worked with brought in a whole sheaf of BB Magazines and I "Borrowed" the one with Steve Reeves on the cover. Immediate erection straight to the Gents, two strokes and whooooooosh. I was HOOKED on muscle.

Make that ADRIEN Baillargeon, of course, (how could I forget?)--tallest, strongest and (though plainest too) best built of Canada's famous sextet of rasslers, the Baillargeon Brothers.

Tex, my TV epiphany came even earlier--watching Monday night wrestling (live from Marigold Gardens and MSG) via a b&w Dupont console--when masterful, agile musclestuds like Andre Drapp, Billy Melby, Antonino Rocca, Andre Baillargeon & Art Walge helped me understand what I was all about. The BB magazines soon followed. . .

BB in white posers seems to have a semi-boner!

love the pithair! Thank you. That grim demeanor must have made him a pretty intense fuck - but only one position!

Less a diaper than a 'peplum' perhaps--inspired by the sword-and-sandal movie epics of the day. (Tony had quite a caboose on him, btw, a great, big pony butt...) Oh, I LOVE 'grim' myself. Even more than big 'n stupid.

When did vintage muscle videos go from posing straps/nude to diapers?

"Kid brother." Is that a euphemism for...........? LOL. Yes, he's grim, but some people like it like that.

man, if I could have watch these golden videos back then. It was the hero movies and shows they used to show on TV that fed my lust for muscle. and the occasional bodybuilding competition on Wide World of Sports.
