Nonsense. Of course he competed since then, he turned pro. That show wouldnt get him his pro card.

In fact, he competed in at least the following shows:

1984 California Gold Cup Classic -- 1st
1989 Mr. Barbados -- 1st
1992 Nigerian Championships -- 1st and Overall
