I remember when he was booked to dance at the Gaiety without knowing what he'd gotten himself into (around 2002-2003, as I recall.) After reporting there around noon of the Monday he was supposed to start, he left in horror even before doing his first show. Needless to say, the hopes of hundreds of fans were dashed, & Denise had to scramble to replace him. Since Jason Adonis had canceled just two weeks before--a no-show in his case (natch)--it was a pretty rough time for her.
