I read online that Ulrich Oehmen, the website founder and owner, will always point out to the bodybuilders what Muscle Gallery is all about and their target audiences. Claims he never try to it hide away from them always showing them the material content so they can make their mind up about posing for him.

His words: "I did the video for Muscle Gallery in 1999, and trust me it is strictly training. Someone who I trusted at a major fitness magazine suggested the opportunity. Hindsight being 20/20, yeah I wish I never did it. At 24 I was naive about what went on in the “sideshows” of bodybuilding. Since then the site has evolved and is blatantly slanted much more to gay men. I suppose I could take legal action to try and get them to remove my pictures"

I refuse to believe Dugdale didn't know who would be the target audience for a website called Muscle Gallery. Bet he didn't return the fee he received, though.
