Bob Paris was a legendary bodybuilder during a golden era of the sport.
He was born Robert Clark Paris on December 14, 1959 and is an American-Canadian writer, actor, public speaker, civil rights activist and was the 1983 NPC American National and IFBB World Bodybuilding Champion, Mr. Universe. He was openly gay. Bob was instrumental in the effort to have drug testing adopted
in pro bodybuilding.
