In junior year high school English class, I sat behind a kid named Dave, a dark-haired wrestler who was one of the most muscular guys in school. He was a nice, friendly guy, but I never got to know him that well, and he moved away before the next term. I vividly recall staring at his big arms in front of me and especially his wide back as it stretched the fabric of his shirt. This 17-year-old guy’s lats @ around 1:00 took me back to that. I often wonder if Dave continued to train and get bigger.
